Services:

MECRC offers 24 hour-a- day, 7 days a week, repair service for
steel, aluminum, GRP, open tops, specials & reefer containers.
Other services include refurbishment, steam cleaning & washing.
MECRC also specializes in reefer pre-trip inspections & reefer
generator repair, service, & hire. One mobile service vehicle
is available. Containers are bought, sold, overhauled/modified
for local requirements including the oil industry. Containers
are prepared for special cargoes (textiles, etc.). MECRC also
maintains and re-supplies reefer ships' kits delivering when required
to vessels during their calls. The company also sells twistlocks,
lashings, & associated items. MECRC's three depots in UAE are
the official repair, parts and warranty facilities for Carrier
Transicold, Thermo King Corp: Seacold Technologies, Mitsubishi
and Daikin.

Facility:

The depot covers an area of 23,000 m2, all paved, and has a 2900
m2 covered workshop. The depot is located inside Port Rashid,
adjacent to the container terminal empty yards.

Equipment:
|
The depot is equipped with 1 empty container handler and 1 forklift
with extended forks, 2 steam clean machines, 6 MIG welding machines,
hydraulic straightening equipment, guillotine, press brake, 28
reefer points and other necessary tooling.

Repair capacity:
|
25-30 TEU per day.

20 employees, 2 IICL-certified inspectors.

Computer systems:
|
MECRC uses an IBM-compatible computer system for all depot operations
plus accounting, with EDI capacity.

Services: This depot opened in January 2001 and means that
MECRC is located in both Dubai Port Authority Ports. The depot
offers the same services as offered in the Port Rashid Depot.
Facility: The depot covers 40,000 m2, all paved, and has
a covered workshop of 1,900 m2. The depot is located within the
Port area, a few minutes from the container empty yards.
Equipment: 2 empty container handlers, 1 forklift fitted
with container frames, 1 forklift with extended forks, 2 steam
cleaners, 12 MIG welding machines, a guillotine, press brake,
hydraulic straightening equipment, 64 reefer points and other
necessary tooling. Refurbishing equipment includes 2 blast pots
with steel grit recovery/cleaning equipment and a paint bay; both
the blast and paint areas are separately enclosed bays. 2 mobile
vehicles available for reefer site repairs in other UAE areas.
Repair capacity: 75-100 TEUs per day.
Personnel: 50 employees, 4 IICL-certified inspectors.

Facility: 30,000 m2, all paved, with a covered workshop
900 m2. Located inside Port Mina Zayed & adjacent to the container
terminal empty yards.
Equipment: 2 empty container handlers, a steam cleaner,
6 MIG welding machines, a guillotine, a pressbrake and hydraulic
straightening equipment, 6 reefer points, and other necessary
tooling. Refurbishing equipment includes a blast room with a blast
pot and airless spray equipment. 1 mobile vehicle available for
reefer site repairs.
Repair capacity: 20-25 TEUs per day.
Personnel: 18 employees, 2 IICL-certified inspectors.
Computer system: Same as for headquarters.
