The Institute of Interational Container Lessors has released the Twenty First Annual Lease Container Fleet Survey, noting that as of January 1, 2009, the operating fleet of world containers reached approximately 10.7 million TEU. The survey is divided into two sections which outline container and chassis fleet size, 2009 planned acquisitions and 2008 Disposals.
