Dry Van Inspection and Repair Training Course


IICL is offering a one-day Dry Van Inspection & Repair Training Course on 31 January 2019 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

General Information

Objectives:

  • Promote the understanding of the new IICL-6 inspection criteria. In addition, review applicable IICL manuals dealing with repair and proper inspection techniques.
  • Review the latest industry issues relating to the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
  • View container repairs in progress and take part in an estimate writing exercise.

Who Should Attend:
The Dry Van Inspection Course is an excellent way for gate inspectors, surveyors and maintenance supervisors to understand the IICL criteria and responsibilities from turn-in to lease-out.

Course Fee: US $450.00

Course fee includes the new Guide for Container Equipment Inspection, 6th Ed., Repair Manual for Steel Freight Containers, 5th Ed. and Supplement on Inspection & Repair: Gray Areas, 2nd Ed. (a $120 value).

Course Duration: 1 Day

The morning session will be in a classroom environment where students will review power point slides and other dry van material. The afternoon session will be held at a local depot where all students will go through practical training on a dry van unit.

All who attend will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training session. The course will be given in its countries native language, Spanish.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be given for any cancellation received by 17 January 2019, less a $50 cancellation fee. After this date, no refunds will be given, but alternate attendees may be designated at no charge.

Refunds will not be given, however, for hotel arrangements or flight accommodations.
