2018 ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS REFRIGERATED CONTAINER INSPECTION & REPAIR TRAINING COURSE

General Information

The 2018 IICL Reefer course will offer intensive instruction of IICL reefer container inspection and repair. Other topics planned for the course will be drawn from the following: reefer body and machinery construction and operation. Depot sessions will provide practical demonstrations of principles discussed in class. You will be asked to submit questions regarding the machinery portion of the equipment, which will be answered by our guest speakers from the machinery manufacturers.

The course will be offered from on 21 and 22 November in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In addition to our classroom study we will also include depot practical time, which will be spent inspecting damages and repairs. The course will be given in English; French, German and Dutch also spoken.

Experienced technical experts in the reefer container field will lead classes. The course textbook used is the newly released pocket-size Fourth Edition of the IICL General Guide for Refrigerated Container Inspection and Repair, a copy of which will be provided to all registered students.

In order to maintain a high level of individual attention, enrollment will be limited. Early registration is recommended to ensure seating in the course. The course will be conducted in English, with a French, German and Dutch translator present.

The training classes and practical demonstration will be conducted at a local depot. The machinery presentation will also be conducted at the depot.

Course Duration: 2 Days

Course Tuition: US$1,000 Tuition includes instruction, the new IICL Reefer Manual, 4th edition and a certificate of completion for all who attend. Lunch will also be provided each day of the course.

Registration & Payment Deadline: 12 November 2018. Enrollment will be taken in the order in which registrations with payments are received; a waiting list will be started if needed.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be given for any cancellation received by 5 November 2018, less a $100 cancellation fee. After this date, no refunds will be given, but alternate attendees may be designated at no charge. Courses are subject to cancellation in which full refunds will be given. Refunds will not be given, however, for hotel arrangements or flight accommodations.

In addition to our classroom study we will also include depot practical time, which will be spent inspecting damages and repairs. The course will be given in its countries native language, Spanish.
